Clinical Services

Fees for clinical services at Sleep & Change Specialists are established based on the specialized nature of behavioral sleep medicine care, the clinician’s training and expertise, the professional time required to provide the service, and the clinical and administrative resources involved in providing individualized care.

CBT-I typically takes 6 to 8 visits, though more complex sleep concerns may benefit from a longer course of care.

Follow-Up Appointment

45 minutes

A 30-minute booster appointment ($180) may be appropriate after the primary course of care for relapse prevention, travel, schedule changes, or a return of symptoms.

Your location matters for telehealth

For telehealth appointments, clinical practice requirements are generally based on where the patient is physically located at the time care is provided, not simply the patient’s permanent home address. Your location and eligibility for care will be confirmed as part of the clinical intake process.

Clinical availability is subject to current licensure and interstate practice requirements. Availability last reviewed: September 2026. For the most current information about PSYPACT participation, visit the official PSYPACT map .

Insurance

Insurance & Superbills

Sleep & Change Specialists is a private-pay, out-of-network practice and does not bill insurance companies directly.

Payment is due at the time of service.

Patients may use a credit card, debit card, or eligible HSA/FSA funds when permitted by their plan.

Upon request, patients may receive a superbill containing the information typically needed to submit a claim to their insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

Reimbursement is determined entirely by the patient’s individual insurance plan. Sleep & Change Specialists cannot guarantee reimbursement and does not contact insurance companies on a patient’s behalf to determine benefits, obtain authorization, submit claims, or negotiate reimbursement.

Patients who plan to seek reimbursement should contact their insurer directly to understand their out-of-network mental or behavioral health benefits.

Please note: Some additional professional services, including certain forms, letters, reports, record review, care coordination, and other services performed outside a clinical appointment, may not be reimbursable by insurance. Patients are responsible for fees associated with requested professional services regardless of insurance reimbursement.
